I like that it is mostly hands-on activities that are somewhat productive. It is rare that we spend a period of time doing pointless work from a book.

The Hoh river.
Favorite NOSC project: 3 crabs
Future ambitions: I have it as my ambition to study at a University and obtain a degree in either Biology or Engineering.

What I like best about Sequim High Salmon Coalition: What I like best about the Salmon Coalition is that students can come together to give back and help the environment.
Favorite watershed: My favorite watershed would most likely be the Dungeness watershed. Most
likely because its the one closest to home, and the one I see the most.
Favorite NOSC project: My favorite NOSC project would be going to Chimacum Creek to plant trees
in the CREP or in other words Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program.
Future ambitions: What I would like to do when I complete college is become a high school
agriculture teacher, and I hope that I can come back to Sequim High
School to teach.

Being outdoors and getting involved with service projects like salmon restoration projects and planting trees

What I like best about Sequim High Salmon Coalition: I believe this is a sprouting class for a greener future and I like it because we make a difference in our community.
Favorite watershed: The Dungeness River
Favorite NOSC project: I enjoyed putting my time and effort into planting trees at Finn River Farm. The farm is a dandy place with a caring community of people and I liked putting my effort into making a difference there.
Future ambitions: My dream is to become a park ranger, and I joined this class to pave a road of success.
